The challenge

Previous association managers had left the Board, Chapter councils, volunteers and members with little trust in an outsourced provider. Lack of processes, communication and a clear divide between the chapters were some of the biggest challenges.

The decision

Find the right talent needed to help create an efficient operating team with absolute dedication and passion for providing excellent customer service for the members/customers and provide the support needed for the Board and chapter councils.

A customer-driven structure enabling the organisation to present to the marketplace ‘one team’ that is responsive to the volunteers and chapter councils; proactive leadership on a number of key projects, taking the lead and driving them forward to achieve organisation goals; a central point of truth for all stakeholders – reliable and trusted to maintain corporate IP and to know how and when to use it;  delivering consistently high service, ensuring members have a positive and memorable experience.

The bottom line

The onsomble team, led by our senior manager, continued to ensure the client’s needs were met and the change resulted in a significant reduction in operating expenses through a flattened hierarchy, consolidation and integration of common functions, and the ability to transition to a broader service offering.

This enables staff to be familiar with policies and processes for that organisation and creates a sense of loyalty for that client. By opening the doors wide to possibility, this Senior Manager has started the cultural shift for our client, having chapters share information and passionately and respectfully convey their concerns to build a trusting environment.
